Kunjung Hormat with Pengetua Cemerlang SAS Putrajaya, Tn Hj Nor Azam Abdullah

Strengthening Ties and Planning for OBW24

The ASAS96 alumni committee recently gathered for a meaningful meeting with the Tuan Pengetua Cemerlang of Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah Putrajaya, Tn Hj Nor Azam Abdullah at Homst Restaurant in Ayer8, Putrajaya. The primary goal of this gathering was to foster stronger ties, discuss plans for the upcoming Old Boys Weekend 2024 (OBW24), and explore various aspects of the event.

One of the key highlights of the meeting was the opportunity for committee members to get to know the school’s principal on a personal level. This interaction laid the foundation for future collaborations and initiatives between the alumni and the alma mater.

Among the critical topics discussed during the meeting were tentative dates for OBW24, the event agenda, budget considerations, and other logistics. The committee engaged in thoughtful conversations, drawing from their diverse experiences and perspectives, to ensure that OBW24 becomes a memorable and impactful event for all participants.

The camaraderie extended beyond the meeting dinner as the committee members took the chance to connect with two ASAS15 alumni who run a murtabak stall (Murtabite) within the vicinity. This impromptu encounter added a touch of nostalgia, creating an atmosphere of shared memories and experiences from their time at Sekolah Alam Shah.

As plans for OBW24 take shape, the ASAS96 alumni committee is dedicated to creating an event that not only celebrates the bonds formed during school years but also contributes positively to the school’s current and future endeavours.

The committee envisions OBW24 as an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, reminisce the tradition, and actively participate in the growth and development of Sekolah Alam Shah Putrajaya.

Stay tuned for more updates on OBW24 as the committee continues to work tirelessly to make this event a resounding success, embodying the spirit of the ASAS96 alumni community.
